Welcome to St. Saviour's Website

St Saviour's is a Grade 2 listed building, built in 1828. Well that's got the history out of the way! (If you want to know more about the history of the church or its architectural features click on Things Past or visit our dedicated history and archaeological pages at http://southwellchurches.nottingham.ac.uk/retford-st-saviour)

The most important thing about any church is the people. The members of St Saviour's Church come in many different shapes and sizes, and range in age from 1 to 97. We put a strong emphasis on welcoming all people, from babies and children through to the most senior inhabitants of Retford.

The best description of what we aspire to can be found in our Vision, which can be found in About Us. Most of us would describe ourselves as evangelical Christians (the sensible sort, not the way-out ones!).

We are part of the Parish of Retford and the Retford Area Team Ministry. We belong to the Anglican Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham.

We hope you will enjoy visiting us!
